I'd be ok with this, especially if some of those R2-4 picks were in 2025, when it's possible there's a better class of S, LB and RB.
Having extra
100% Agree. DL often take a few years to really develop; that they (mostly Brooks) could contribute was encouraging.
One thing I noticed
I agree. Payton Wilson is the wildcard for me. He played the last 2 seasons without injury and had insane production then put up elite combine numbers.
bobblehead 04-23-2024, 11:34 AMGB trades #25 and 91 to the Commando’s for #’s 40,67 and 100.

I think he trades too. But it's more likely up than down, that is if there's someone Gute really likes. They need quality, not quantity this draft, except
Jaire 04-22-2024, 08:50 PMFor what it's worth, I've read two Gutekunst interviews in the last few days in which he was asked about safeties, and he's specifically said he prioritizes
Frozen Tundra 04-22-2024, 08:42 PMScarcity at LB in the draft is less real than imagined. Some teams like SF can identify and develop talent there. Others can't. We'll see if it changes
Jaire 04-22-2024, 08:33 PMThere was a lot of evidence at the time of McCarthy watching the game on the sideline with Rodgerv and discussing plays with them as they happened, coaching
Frozen Tundra 04-22-2024, 07:07 PMRun, last year was an awesome draft at EDGE and TE. Brooks and Wooden were "tweener" edge players thus we got them cheap and late. Bottom
bobblehead 04-22-2024, 06:47 PMI believe there's a sweet spot between reducing interceptions and being too conservative. It's not as easy as just concluding less interceptions is always
sharpe1027 04-22-2024, 02:57 PMWait, what? Draft’s in 3 days? Fuck, I still have not composed a rough draft of my ingenious 2024 “Mastery Mockery of a Draft.”
Anti-Polar Bear 04-22-2024, 01:07 PMWooden was undersized for Barry's D and as a 3-4 DE, but he's got some length and quickness. I think the assumption was that he'd be a subpackage/depth
run pMc 04-22-2024, 11:28 AMI think it has zero impact on the draft. Gutes probably had a high grade on Dillard coming out, still sees some athleticism and is willing to let his
bobblehead 04-22-2024, 10:53 AMBishop is definitely on the radar. He tested really well, but I'm not sure he was exposed to the competition you would like for a guy stepping right

Yeah, when there's 5 seconds on the clock and you need a TD, THAT's the time to take a risk. Just about any other time, hell no. It seems like Love absorbed

On second thought forget beebe and his short arms
