their D is way better and the O's both pretty much suck. that spells a low scoring Packers loss...12-0. smh
Bears 6 point favorites
Did the Bears sign Bennett yet?
Joe Thomas was a limited participant but it had nothing to do with injury.
Vontae Davis released by Colts.
He has groin injury. Similar to Bennett, he is contemplating surgery after 2 second opinions recommended it.

MDS’s take: It sounds crazy to pick the Bears against the Packers, but that’s only because we’re still not really accustomed to how bad the Packers are without Aaron Rodgers. Maybe we’ll be accustomed to it once the Bears win on Sunday.
MDS’s pick: Bears 24, Packers 17.
Florio’s take: Packers coach Mike McCarthy says there’s more than one way to win a game. Without one of the best quarterbacks to ever play the game, the Packers consistently have been finding the best way to lose — by allowing more points than they score.
Florio’s pick: Bears 17, Packers 14.

Moss on Fackrell: He is so close. He is so close.
If only.
Packers win this on the ground and through turnovers. 31-17.
If Moss proves prescient on Fackrell getting it together, I will immediately withdraw my complaints about any LB in the future.
But I kinda doubt that is going to happen.
I think he'll be a future contender for a Pro Bowl nod.*

Remember a few years back when Ted said he needed someone to remind him to draft football players, because he was at risk of drafting guys for their athleticism. Randall, Clark, Fackrell seem to fit the pattern of Ted taking a chance on young athletic guys who will hopefully grow into their position. Seems a bit hit and miss miss.
Day before a Bear's game, this thread has almost dropped off the front page and the thread is less than a page long.
Guess interest has fallen off just a leeetle :whaa:
