Shame on the people for FEMA for making it seem like a press conference when it was not a press conference. Just give the public a Powerpoint and be done with it. Don't PRETEND you're having a press conference.
That was a weird kind of dishonest worthy of Baghdad Bob's School of Public Relations and Journalism.
Nonetheless, it was refreshing to not have to listen to reporters tell FEMA that sources close to the rescue efforts had informed them that Global Warming and the War in Iraq were contributing to the flames and interfering with rescue efforts so do you think President Bush is directly or indirectly responsible for the death and destruction and should he and the FEMA director both resign?
It's not the first time this administration has had political hacks pose as journalists in a question-and-answer session. At least this time it wasn't a male stripper.
