Has anyone read.....

.....John Grisham's book 'Playing for Pizza'?
I read it on a recent long flight.
It's about a NFL third string QB who blows a playoff game, and his agent gets him a job with the Panthers.....................the Parma Panthers in Italy.
It's a fun read.
But don't read it on a empty stomach! The way he goes on about the Italian food........................ :wink:

I'll have to check out that book. John Grisham is one of my favorite authors.

Are you aware that was Dr. Seuss's last book published before he passed on to the great "Who-Ville" in the sky?

Oh, The Places You Will Go is indeed better.

My favorite Dr. Seuss book was I Had Trouble Getting To Solla Sollew. In it, the main character has troubles in his life. He hears from someone else that Solla Sollew is a place where you never have troubles.

He makes a long perilous journey encountering many strange obstacles and adventures. When he finally arrives at Solla Sollew, he finds he cannot enter it without killing a small animal that guards the door lock. Killing the animal supposedly results in eternal bad luck.

Finally, he thinks about the troubles he had back home and says. "The troubles I had back home are now going to have trouble with me!"

It's a great theme about avoiding doing a "geographical" in adult life. In other words, if you just move to a new town or a different part of the country, your problems will automatically go away. In reality, they don't go away. They just follow you to your new location.

Huh? It's called I Had Trouble Getting Sally to Swallow? :?: Dr. Seuss ... you dirty bastard!

Horton Hears a Who for obvious reasons.

Much better than Horton Hatches a Hangover, I thought. :)
