Latino Lawmakers Upset Over Clinton Camp Shake-Up
    By Patrick Healy

The anger in the Hispanic community over the ousting of Patti Solis Doyle as Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton’s campaign manager continues to unfold, with two Hispanic legislators from Mrs. Clinton’s home state sending an open letter to her expressing their concerns. (They’re not the only ones voicing concerns.)

Given that Mrs. Clinton (not to mention Ms. Solis Doyle) spent months building a base out of Hispanic voters, does the move over the weekend — as Mrs. Clinton faced more losses — carry risks? Ms. Solis Doyle, the daughter of Mexican immigrants, was replaced by Maggie Williams, an African-American and a longtime, longtime Clinton adviser from their White House days. Ms. Solis Doyle has said that she will remain on the campaign as a “senior adviser.”

Funny stuff Creepy. U don't think I understand the BASICS of the primaries? Wow, what sad fucks do you hang out with. My point about these two leading the primaries is exactly as I stated it. Reread the thread. I've already thrown out the Republican candidates as modern day zombies, and that's being nice. U are in a very sad state if u think any joker on that side of the coin is even in contention. It's a two person race, and I'm not saying that because I listen to NPR (that's national public radio, creepy, sure you didn't know that ). Thus the poignance of my thought that either of the two sit in a scenery of historic magnitude unlike any in my lifetime. Deal with it Creep, a white man will probably give his seat to a minority in leading this "great" country forward. But, you know what? That's probably a good thing for the average white male in this country, they can start blaming the President for all their problems instead of mommy. Therapists around the country will be drinking the Captain along with me instead of their expensive wines.

Wow, that was a nice rant. I don't believe a third of it, but it had a lot of positives going for it. It should be critisized well ( as long as Skinny isn't the critic ).

BTW, creepy, that nickname you gave me was hilarious, even I laughed at it, which pisses me off, but, good job, very creative, PRICK!!

4th, you've got to chill out a bit. I actually don't think you do understand the primary process given your first post. You've got this whole, "I'm divorced and free for the first time in years" middle life crisis thing going on, but you've got to settle down or you're going to burn out the you'll end up naked in a dark corner crying into your pubes. If I've seen it once, I've seen it a hundred times. Before your freedom was won, you were on the verge of confusion vs foolishness. Right now you seem to be throwing yourself wholeheartedly into the pit of scatterbrained craziness, lashing out at anything that comes near you. Take a moment to get sober and set your course.

This thread makes me miss TPB (TexasPackerBacker, for the post JSO crowd), Lamboo, GreenDay, TH87 and all those skirmishes over Bush, Kerry and the american way of life

(not enough to head back over, mind you)

I don't agree that this pool of candidates are not qualified. In the mix is a Naval officer, all US senators, lawyers, highly educated from reputable colleges. Years of experience working in various occupations.

Are they the best qualified? That varies on what YOU want as president.

We currently have a Yale/Harvard grad with a Wyoming grad (with time at UW-Madison) as his VP.

Personally I don't like Clinton for some of the same reasons the Harv posted eariler. I won't be voting for her anytime soon.

Obama intrigues me, while he lacks the national leadership exposure, but that doesn't bother me very much. Its not like he's the only person behind the wheel. The current prez ran businesses into the ground, yet...maybe not a good example. Anyway Obama over Clinton in my book, the guy can give some great speeches.

I like McCain, for reasons that some people don't. He has worked on solving issues and sometimes making it more important than party loyalty. Bipartisan efforts should matter more than blind loyalty to a party machine. I would pick McCain over Obama.

The minority issue; being a member of a group that is called a minority, it is a historic occasion. Will I vote for someone just because they are, no. I think the "historic part" has been beaten to death by the media.

I think the fact that they are in the race is enough. Monumental. Ground breaking. Yet, from here on out we should be blind to the gender and race and vote on ideas and ideals and what they're planning on doing once in office and forget the rest of it as it seems some already have.

Just because he was a POW doesn't mean that he's fit to be Commander in Chief. Sure, I admire and respect the guy for all he's done, but kids come back from Iraq everyday with their limbs blown off. Why not elect them president?
    Thanks for reiterating my point.

you're an idiot, Zool. How does being a POW qualify somebody to be president? Why, they might even be crazy in the head, like that guy in the Manchurian Candidate movie.

Not knowing you well enough, I'm going to have to assume you're joking. Otherwise I've lost what little respect I had for you.

Even if that's true, he's still thinkin Yes We Can. Maybe Flava Flav doesn't have anything on him after all.

Thank you Creepy, I needed a dose of reality. I am amazed at you're insight to what's going on in my head without me even realizing it. I took the time to go back over all the posts I've had these past couple of weeks, and it is a testiment to all of you here for not hating me forever, (those who do hate me, I apoligize for my wayward behavior). Wow, I have been using the one source of joy that I can count on and abusing it. I am sorry to all, I am still trying to tame my own freedom I guess, if Mr. Basket is right. Disregard 99.9% of what I've said recently. In fact, hell, I don't like black people OR women!! @#$&*#@$!!!! What the hell was I thinking? J/K, I like black people.

4and12to12and4, your posts are fine. you aren't lashing out, that is BS.

95% of people just scan posts and forget about them 30 seconds later. A few individuals pick apart your words, give them a spin that may or may not be true.
