Either things have changed a lot or the college I attended was just pretty wacked. When I did my internship I worked 40 hours a week, no pay and was on call on weekends whenever the person I was following was on call. It lasted an entire semester. I see people coming in to do internships where I work and they only do a certain amount of hours and they can just make their own schedules. To have money to live on I bartended and waitressed 4 nights a week ....after my "regular" job....internship. I was fried at the end of that last semester.Originally Posted by Anti-Polar Bear
Yes, but not much. When you take into account the fucking high cost of living in DC, there isnt much leftover. But i should have enough to buy drugs (note: although i dont do it every day, I love to experience the high of coke-can)
