No problem friend. A Portland buddy of mine always gets a few from a trader out there. I still have the last two years sitting in the cellar and we should drink them together this winter. Perhaps at the bottom of a ski hill.

Any Pumpkin Ale fans? I always considered it to be gimicky but the last couple of years I get addicted at this time of year.

Trolling thru the thread and noticed this post. Shocktop had a Pumpkin Spiced Belgian style ale. Bought a 12pk at local groc. store when I saw they were clearancing it out at $5/12 pk. A little pumpkin, nice hint of clove, but overall very tasty.

They should call it nutmeg ale then. Nutmeg is good in many things, but imo beer is not one of them.

    But, to each their own.

Just wondering what out Asian wanderlust friend thinks. We had an Anchorage guest at Thanksgiving yesterday and he recommended the place for good micro-brew.

Always a good idea considering moose kill more people here than bear do.

The Tooths beer is nothing special IMHO.....good but nothing great. Much better is to be had around these parts. The Fairweather IPA is nice but everything else is boring. But I'm a snob.

    This is beautiful:

It has been calculated by environmental experts that one single bottle of imported beer uses 900g of CO2 - wiping out two-thirds of the annual carbon savings made by replacing all light bulbs in an average home with energy-saving models.

Drink two and you’re in credit.
