    While I'm on the cat theme, it was a challenging day today, and last night an old boyfriend showed up in my e-mail (someone here called that one perfectly), so when I got home and sat my tired self down, my sweet little (ok, huge) cat hauled his ass onto my lap, leaned himself against my chest, purred REALLY loud and pressed his head into my hand. And I felt better.

    In the last 10 days I've seen two movies: The Invention of Lying and Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. Meatballs made more sense (we decided it was weird but ultimately entertaining). Ratbirds, he he.
