I always assumed those people were plants and worked for the show. Good for you!
As soon as I got back to my seat, the people around me said what a great job I did and how much I got paid, etc. Same thing as we were leaving. No one would believe me.

I'm not sure Nevada was even a state when I turned 21. I think it was still owned by Spain!
wasn't it just one big inland sea back then?

Catching the fountain show at night from a window table is a bonus, but didn't give me an erection unfortunately.
The pate was out of this world. The lamb reduction sauce was to die for. The wine pairs were perfect and to be sitting next to a $10,000,000 painting pushed it over the top.

Sorry to hear that your night wasn't as exceptional.
I'm sorry, but I can't not read "to die for" without the gay accent.

There are so many great places to eat in Vegas, the only challenge is fitting as many in as possible. That is the one thing I would plan ahead though, B. Your food itinerary and budget.
Joel Robuchon's place is better than both of your suggestions.

    Perhap's even Alex.

Ty, if he can, always drops in at Lotus of Siam.

Then take a weekday trip now. I just finished a project with a guy in Vegas who tells me you can stay at the Hard Rock for $44 a night m-Th. Everything's cheap there right now because they're so depressed.

Check out the 'Pawn Shop' from the television show. If you haven't seen it - it's fricken hilarious.

    Phantom was very well done.

The shark exhibit is worth the money (like $10-$15).

If you're smart, get her a day spa at one of the nicer hotels. Gives you a chance to see your 'adult' shows or just gamble solo. And it's worth it when she's all relaxed. :P

You can go to Mystere for under $100. Funny story - I went about 6 years ago and was randomly selected from the crowd to be a bit actor. They picked me up in a golf cart, ran me through a fake wall and immediately dressed me in a bib, diapers and bottle. I followed the FAT baby around and did some silly shit. But a good memory.

Then make a night of just seeing the strip - the light shows, ship fights, canals, shopping.

Personally I can't stand Vegas for more than 2 days. Too much drinking, craziness, etc.

We're headed there for 3 days and 2 nights; just a getaway. Heard Mystere was about 200 per person. Have to go check that out again
LIFE IS ABOUT CHAMPIONSHIPS; I JUST REALIZED THIS. The MILWAUKEE BUCKS have won the same number of championships over the past 50 years as the Green Bay Packers. Ten years from now, who will have more championships, and who will be the fart in the wind ?

You can probably find some deals in this if you're into that: http://slickdeals.net/forums/showthread.php?t=1288629

Instead of shows now, we just eat. I would recommend these over the others:
    http://www.hashhouseagogo.com/
    http://www.aureolelv.com/

Aureole runs about $100 per person with wine, but we make sure to get there once each visit. Take a look at the Hash House photo gallery and tell me you won't go.
Have to go look into Zumanity; Thx

Zumanity... actually - that was pretty lame.

My wife took me to a burlesque show in LA once - now that was pretty cool.

As long as you don't get roped into 'the Thunder from down under' you're ok/ :P

We went to one of the main tittie shows a long time ago. It bored us both to tears. It was one of the worst moments of my life, bored by boobs.
