    Uncle Ted

The details are still coming in but it looks like Ted Stevens may have been killed in this crash.

It's my understanding that Stevens had been involved in improving aviation safety in Alaska. Ironic he would die that way.

He has been very involved in aviation safety throughout his life. His first wife died in a accident here in Anchorage....he always said he had a premonition when he was young that he would die in an aircraft accident.

    RIP.

It seems like the Bermuda Triangle up there the last few weeks……better stay on terra firma.
After lunch the players lounged about the hotel patio watching the surf fling white plumes high against the darkening sky. Clouds were piling up in the west… Vince Lombardi frowned.

Insist on some Totally Naked (Lager) or Moon Man (Pale Ale).

Moon Man is horrible! Way too hoppy. They dry hop the beer and wow is it sweet!

Just took the hardhat tour at New Glarus two weeks ago. Great tour of both facilities. Unfortunately we were 2 hours in before we got our first taste of beer.
But Rodgers leads the league in frumpy expressions and negative body language on the sideline, which makes him, like Josh Allen, a unique double threat.

Two hours! WTF? That's just wrong.

I have rarely had their normal run of beers other than the "Reds" which I enjoy.....I want the unplugged stuff.

Odd. I love it. But I also enjoy rainy days, long walks down the beach, warm puppies, and sunrises. To each his own, I guess.

I'll drink Spotted Cow and Two Ladies all day from New Glarus. Moon Man is too sweet for me. They were saying on the tour that the normal bitterness of beer is between 35-55 units and Moon Man comes in around 15.

We got to taste Spotted Cow right out of the tank. Fresh as fresh gets!

You guys are like an Irish wake. Ted is dead and all you can think of is beer.

From my death and beer files:

An Irish woman answers a knock at the door and finds Paddy from the brewery at the door, looking distraught.

"Sorry to say, Missus, but your dear Thomas has fallen into a vat of stout ale and drowned."

"Faith and begorrah!" wailed the woman, "Me poor Thomas never had a chance!"

"I wouldn't say that," mused Paddy. "From the looks of it he cloimbed out two or three times to use the toilet."
[QUOTE=George Cumby] ...every draft (Ted) would pick a solid, dependable, smart, athletically limited linebacker...the guy who isn't doing drugs, going to strip bars, knocking around his girlfriend or making any plays of game changing significance.

I like all three. Had a bottle of Spotted Cow followed by a Bass Ale for dinner. Deelish.

I was at a Swedish wake today. No talk of beer at all... What New Glarus type goes well with Lutfisk?
