Thread: Former Packers still pursuing the dream

Why are the beat writers still doing Jordy content? Packer Report just put up a retrospective on his remarkable number of 40+ yard TDs from 2011 through 2016.

    What is going on here?
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

Robert Redford had a pock-marked face.

Did the TJ Lang retirement slip through the grasp of Packerrats, or was it posted elsewhere on the site?

    Good luck TJ.

Maybe it was a good call letting him go?

In Detroit, sports reporters noted that when Lang was on the field he was usually their best blocker - but he wasn't on the field that much.

    I wish him well.

Eddie Lacy worked out for the Ravens.

I guess they didn't note in the article that it was at defensive tackle.

Imagine the career Lacy could have had if he'd been able to overcome his bad health habits and stay in shape. For a brief period, he was the real deal.

He's almost 29 now. Unfortunately he lost, or threw away what should have been the best years of his career. Could have been one of the Packer greats.

Lacy is the first jersey I have purchased as an adult. I buy Packer gear but not specific player items.

I was totally bummed when he couldnt keep his shit together.
But Rodgers leads the league in frumpy expressions and negative body language on the sideline, which makes him, like Josh Allen, a unique double threat.

    It's rather simple to understand.

Jordy Nelson is getting a whole load of love. Why?

With the 'shit storm' story out on the way it really has been within the inner sanctom of Lambeau Field Packer Nation needs love for our last real Golden Boy, Jordy Nelson.

Aaron Rodgers can forget ever imagining he deserves to hang that sort of accolade over his locker room stall.

Smear chocolate and peanut butter all over it. Hang it in a tree in your yard.

    That's sad.

I was very fortunate with my boyhood and teen early adult heros:

Henry Aaron and Warren Spahn (the Braves); Jim Taylor and Ray Nitschkie ( the Packers); Frank Mahovlich and Guy Lafleur NHL AND LATER IN ADULTHOOD Vladimir Guerrero ( Montreal EXPOS and Las Angeles Angel's - MLB)
