Marshall Newhouse signed by the Patriots. He's bounced around the league with a start here and there (well, 14 for Oakland a couple of years ago - missed that!) and it looks like he'll have a 10 year career as a replacement level backup.

The Browns starting defense included three safeties: Damarious Randall, Morgen Burnett and Jermaine Whitehead. Burnett played all 59 defensive snaps, Randall played 58 of 59. Whitehead played 35. Joe Whitt is the defensive passing game coordinator/secondary coach.
Tretter, of course, started and played the whole game on offense and McCray played 45 of 71 snaps. James Campen is the offensive line/associate head coach.

I wonder when Mike McCarthy will show up with Joe Philbin in tow.

Green Bay offered a "buy one, get one free" deal. Cleveland couldn't pass it up.

Not true, Burnett went through Pittsburgh first before landing in Cleveland.
But Rodgers leads the league in frumpy expressions and negative body language on the sideline, which makes him, like Josh Allen, a unique double threat.

Probably just got up late that day. Can't be first at every garage sale. Shows persistence that they went to the Steeler's garage sale to finally get what they wanted

The Eagles had placed Richard Rodgers on IR. They have now removed him from IR and released him.

How far from the facility did he get before he went down?

Remember 2 years ago when the browns were better than the packers except for Rodgers? Well, now they ARE the packers except for Rodgers!!

So the Brownies go up against the Jets and former coach/contract killer Gregg Williams this Monday. When Huge Jackson was Fired Williams was interim coach and Blue Emo (and other players) hated him because he brought discipline to the team (noting of course that it was under Williams they actually won games). OBJ is now claiming that Williams targeted people for injury last year and will be targeting him Monday. Most likely the Browns hired Assistant running backs coach Freddie Kitchens to the head coach job for the always winning reason that “the players love him” (cf. Vaughn Booker and his “man, we had it made” comment playing for Ray Rhodes). So it’s likely the Browns May collapse on the Field a bit under the weight of Kitchens’ front porch and buddy buddy style. Maybe not Monday due to the depletion of the Jets roster, and maybe not completely due to the high talent level of the roster, but with a rookie head coach, a dearth of wisdom, and potential malcontents and criminals all over the roster, the factory of sadness could have an epic chapter in this season when the Browns were absurdly expected by too many to just roll into the AFCC game.

Might not lose to the Jets and their mono-infected QB.

Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

Former GBP practice squad guy Jeremy Vujnovich was cut by AZ this week. He's a former starter at LG (Indy) and we seem to need a LG? Maybe he'll get a tumble in the next few weeks.
