Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

Time for a Damarious Randall update:

Apparently wore out his welcome in Cleveland. Had some run-ins with coaches/management last season and was a healthy scratch for one of their final games. Cleveland made no effort to sign him in the off-season.

Signed with the Raiders for one year, but was released yesterday.

Randall signed to the Seahawks practice squad a week ago, now has signed to their regular roster.

Mike Daniels missed week 2, and has been limited by a groin injury. Then he injured an elbow last Thursday in practice, missed this week and has been placed on IR. Expected to miss up to 8 weeks.

I think that's 3 years in a row he's had lengthy injuries? Gotta think it's the end of the road for him. I guess Gute let him go at the right time.

10 his last year with the Pack, 9 for the Lions last year and now 4 for the Bengals. Elbow this year, don't remember what the other two injuries were, but have to think maybe his body's had enough. He played al 16 games four seasons in a row for the Pack before that.

Kind of a pattern of oppositional-defiance. Seems like the pre-draft process would screen that out.......

Veldheer visiting the Cowboys, who lose La'el Collins for the season. Wonder why the Packers weren't interested in him, I thought he played quite well when he saw the field last year.

Me too. He was an old, broke down tackle who didn't look played out. Don't know why they didn't give him a flop and let him return.

'old, broke down but not played out' is a pretty backhanded compliment!

I thought they might too, especially after Turner got hurt, and Veldheer referred to the injury and tweeted that the Packers should call him. He gave up ZERO pressures in 58 pass plays last year. He played LT for a lot of years, so I imagine could still step in for Bakhtiari if he had to. I'm not sure what their backup plan is for Bakhtiari.

Same as for every NFL team at LT...pray a lot and cuss even more.

I would think he knows how to 'get in the way' enough to play LT, a la Bruce Wilkerson!

Some guys are their own worst enemy.

Remember Josh Hawkins, the CB? Played quite a bit for a couple years when the Packers DB cupboard was quite bare. He was released when Alexander and Jackson were drafted. He has been bouncing around, mostly on practice squads, and found his way to the Titans practice squad this year.

He showed up on social media over the weekend, dancing in a crowded establishment, not wearing a mask.

    Titans released him today.
