I'll be honest. I'm kind of giddy about the Peppers signing. I have no tangible reason to point at, but I really like it. I still can't believe he signed.

I kinda want to get his jersey now...

That was just my thinking immediately after seeing he signed with us.

    I love the name too.

Jolly always got a ton of tipped balls, I assume that's what is meant by 'pass defended' for a DE? "

So next year will the Bears get a third rounder comp pick for Peppers, no matter how well or badly he plays this year?

    This league. Jayzuz.

No. they released Peppers. he wasn't a UFA. They will get nothing, and like it.

So this is what winning the offseason is like. Feeling good, not having played a down. Its OK for March.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

    Now, don't be confusing people!

Peppers was an unrestricted free agent (UFA), but not one for which the Bears will receive consideration for potential draft pick compensation because they relinquished their rights in him by firing his ass before his contract expired!

I almost forgot to apologize to TT. I was upset because I had predicted this would be the year he made a splash in FA and he didn't sign any of the "marquee" guys. Although I would have rather had him sign Byrd, I feel slightly vindicated in my prediction.

After reading that ridicules post I started thinking we need more people saying things like this and trolling and really try and sound serious maybe Rodgers needs another chip on his shoulder saying these hack QBs out there are better than him might just do that

i love this like from the article that blasts that post

Most if not all Packer fans also share the unique skill of being Armchair General Managers to some degree. We all have ideas of the personnel moves we would make if given the opportunity to run the team, salary caps and drafts be damned.
yeah, because armchair QBing is unique to us packer fans. no other teams fans ever do it
