Official Gameday Thread - Packers at Seahawks

While these trend loving, latte sipping, sushi ordering, skinny jean wearing, ear hoop using, meat hating wimps North of me prepare to support the reigning SB champs in their characterless stadium we Packer Backers only see a return to the scene of the crime. Nothing less than a victory can soothe sore feelings from that debacle. Tonight Rodgers and Co. get to avenge the injustice for the G&G and clear the road for another championship run. It's almost gametime bitches, so put your seatbelt on cuz I think this is going to be a roller coaster ride tonight.

Since I know we'll be forced to watch replays of the Hail Mary Pass, I'll counter with:

If you need to kill time an hour before the game, you can check-out Tyler Dunne's pregame chat at 6PM.

I think having a chat during pregame is dumb. There's nothing to say that hasn't been beaten to death by the time a game starts. Plus, only losers (like perhaps yourself) follow chats live. Winners scan them later. But a pregame chat is stupid old news after the game starts.

I can't wait for the game to start.

Packers are going to come out in a 3 WR, 1TE set on offense. If Seattle stays in base the Pack is going to throw with Janis or Boykins 1-on-1 verse a LB. If Seattle switches to nickel Eddie Lacy is going to touch the ball a lot tonight.

    GO PACK PACK!!!!!
But Rodgers leads the league in frumpy expressions and negative body language on the sideline, which makes him, like Josh Allen, a unique double threat.

It will be interesting to see what the Packers do offensively. After the 1st half, 8 sack debacle in 2012, they went with a lot of 2TE/RB/FB. I don't see them doing that, but if they're going no huddle, they won't be doing a lot of different formations.

Mark Ye This : Cobb will take a pitch from Rodgers on an apparent end around -then pull up & fling the ball downfield for a long completion.

Pennel inactive is a surprise. I know they can compensate, but Guion is not in shape.

Was listening to PRN and they had Tom Silverstein on... they were talking about Pennel being inactive.

Silverstein said - he thinks, mind you - he thinks, the Packers think, Seattle will be in 3 wides a lot, and the Packers are going to counter with 2 DL, i.e. the dreaded 2-4.

He added that being the case - they have to find a way to stop Marshawn Lynch

If that's the crap alignment that dunderdummy lines up in... we're toast already. Nothing will have changed from last year.

    Very demoralizing report to hear

I really do want to win this game!!! Don't give us much a chance - but I would surely like to win this one!!!
