Eddie Lacy blames pad level for Week 3 struggles

    From http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap300...ek-3-struggles :
After studying the game film, Lacy believes he's found the reason behind his struggles.

"I need to work on keeping my pads low," Lacy said. "There were a few times last week where I was running kind of high, and I just figured that out. This week, definitely get my pads down when I'm running."
Stubby must have had a private film session with Lacy. I take back everything I've been saying about our bonehead coach.

The man says he'll get things fixed...he gets things fixed.
One time Lombardi was disgusted with the team in practice and told them they were going to have to start with the basics. He held up a ball and said: "This is a football." McGee immediately called out, "Stop, coach, you're going too fast," and that gave everyone a laugh.

Pad level is a McCarthyism that translates Ted Thompson's silent smirk in response to probing interview questions. In other words, the joke is on those fans who get all bothered when the Packers talk about pad level, as if that cliche were the extent of their ability to self analyze. When you read about pad level just substitute TT's enigmatic smile and you'll be fine.

I hope that is not all he noticed.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

The people who drafted Eddie Lacy in the 1st round of FF have to be relieved.
