At this point, Rodgers seems so relaxed that I'm afraid he's going to try to kill the prime minister of Malaysia one of these days.

I have no idea what Wilde and other reporters were on about tying Bart Starr's record with 6 straight games with no incompletions. I THOUGHT it was six straight with no INTs and a TD toss. But Starr didn't do that. Wilde's Tweet said this was 1964. See if you can find it. Regular season only Bart had 11 straight with no INTs. 14 if you count the start of 1965.

Looks like Starr really had nineconsecutive pick-free games (minimum 15 attempts) that year. They're treating #10 (five attempts, no picks) as if it ended the streak. But it shouldn't. It should not be counted at all, just as if he hadn't played. This isn't a consecutive games played streak, it's a games-without-picks streak. NB: The 15 minimum seems a little arbitrary. Game #13 is a good illustration of why.

I agree. Better would be no INTs and a TD toss. Rodgers shines there as well. But you have to put something in the historic/record section of the Team Notes distributed to the reporters.

    Soft n' Small.

NASCAR package just for Cam. And if they named it that because they were facing a team based in North Carolina, I am very impressed.

Would have been Datone Jones in there, but with his injury, it was Matthews, Peppers, Perry and Neal with Pep and Neal inside. Kinda reminiscent of the Giants 4 aces personnel from 2007 and then hot coordinator Steve Spagnuolo. Only the idea is to be able to chase QBs as well as sack them.

    - Carolina tried to play seven man box and 2 deep safety like Lions did. "Detroit played a similar defense and we didn't run it very well," said Rodgers. "Today was a different story."

It worked well, and was a calculated risk that paid off. If Carolina could've gotten their ground game going with Stewart, that package might not have looked so good. The Panthers depleted OL helped with that.

Clay Matthews said his taunting penalty was for body posture. Appeared like he pushed off Newton to return to his feet.

He also said that there was something said. I was stunned it was called because it looked very routine.

This is huge. I wasn't sure Hayward or Cobb would ever get back to their pre-injury form. They are both very close, if not already there. I believe that numerous metrics had Hayward as one of the best CB's in the league his rookie year.

I read briefly that Perry played well. I could not see the game - damn Lions - so I couldn't watch to see how he did.

What's the word from the Rats who saw the game? Did Perry play well? I know he had a sack, but did he get more snaps than last week, and did he hold the point and cover anybody?

Double the snaps from last week, per ESPN.

What's the word from the Rats who saw the game? Did Perry play well? I know he had a sack, but did he get more snaps than last week, and did he hold the point and cover anybody?
He was Captain Pass Rush yesterday. Filled in for Neal/Peppers who were filling in for Datone Jones at DT in pass rush.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.
