Thread: Head Coach Exit Watch - Five NFL head coaches who will be fired. Really?

I would actually feel bad for the Bears if the picked Singletary up. HC is definitely one tier above his level of maximum competence.

Would the Raiders want a coach who was bad enough to lose to them?

That is precisely the impression he WANTED to leave, if you are a Raiders fan who now thinks Harbaugh lost on purpose to strengthen the Sparano regime and deny the Raiders his presence while driving up interest.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

    It's the Raiders.

    Off topic:

Fritz is right. The NFL is becoming weird.

It piss's me off that the officiating is so dominant in too many game as far as game outcomes are concerned.

Home field advantage is pretty much up in the air.

Thank goodness and to keep it exciting. On any given Sunday any given team can win, prevails.

Doesn't Gruden have a 5 year fully guaranteed contract??? Holy smokes, that is a sweet deal.

Add Miami's HC Joe Philbin to the watch list.

" Speaking on GameDay Morning Sunday, NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported that the futures of Tom Coughlin and Joe Philbin could be determined by whether their respective teams sinks or swims over the last three games. "

Would Philbin come back to GB as OC if he's fired, or will he end up as the head coach of the University of Michigan?

And is the Chicago Bear GM in trouble?

I think Harbaugh has turned down Michigan; his wife likes the Bay Area. I see the next coach of the Oakland Raiders there.

If the Packers fire Dom, would they consider hiring sexy Rexy Ryan next year? Maybe lure him back to a DC position with a promise of free pedicures for his wife?

    Things should quiet down there:

Gruden's named RG III as his starting QB for the Week 16 game hosting Philly @ Washington.

So true, so true. I always loved the incongruous juxtaposition of the angry killer Singletary and the thoughtful sophisticate Singletary with his study glasses. Singletary: "Essentially, the central objective of professional football is to take the opponents' motherfucking head off"

It'll never happen due to timing, but Vic Fangio will most likely be kicked loose in the upcoming Niners purge. He coaches a mean defense. I Fantasize about Vic.

I fantasize having Pro Bowl caliber players on 'D'.

I think he'll be one of main head coaching candidates coming into the offseason.

How old is Fangio? Hasn't he been around the block a few times? Mebbe he's getting too old to get a shot as a head coach....maybe there's hope that he could land in GB, with Dom's post-Super-Bowl-win retirement.

    or something.

Why don't the Packers simply dump Dom Capers and use his Bobble Head Doll to coordinate instead?
