Randall Cobb - even younger than I thought

    Randall Cobb is:

a year younger than Mulumba, Thornton and Goodsen
    two months younger than Lacy
a month younger than Datone Jones

and just 4 months older than Jared Abbrederis.

    OK. OK!

You can have your $9 mil per for five years.

    Geez.

Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

I think it was Wilde who said Nelson told him Cobb will do what he and Jones did, sign a three year contract so as to get a shot at another big contract well before age 30.

I think the Packers would jump at that.

    He's younger than everybody thinks.

First person born in the 90's to play in the NFL.

He's also responsible for quite a few Kentucky Packers fans, because he was such a God down here.

The way Cobb plays, he's be foolish to do that. His career could be cut short, and he should get what he can, NOW.

Hmm.... Not sure if a 3/25 deal would be foolish. If he performs and stays healthy, the next would be 5/50. No one is going to give him a real 5/50 right now. The Eagles would offer him 5/75 and cut him after two years and he'd made $12m total.

    The question is, would Cobb?

The age argument works to his advantage here.

That was the point, Nelson thought he would, if Wilde is to be believed.

if any of the 3 rookies last year could have stood up then i think we would let cobb walk, but we almost have to keep him now, and 9 a year isn't that bad

If its for 3 years, its not bad. I wonder what their best offer was last offseason.
