Official Packers - Bucs Game Day Thread

The Packers are now entering the final stretch of the 2014 season.

Phi lost last night and the Pack can secure a playoff spot today. With a win, next weeks game against Det will be for either the no. 1 or 2 seed. Which doesn't really matter to me because after discussing it, my wife forgot to enter us in the playoff lottery for tickets.

Packers take care of business and win pulling away 34-17.

But Rodgers leads the league in frumpy expressions and negative body language on the sideline, which makes him, like Josh Allen, a unique double threat.

I guess I will have to set expectations lower next week and promise that the thread will be up by 8:30am.

I'm glad I don't have to go to the local Packer bar to catch the game today.

So, are you going to the game then?

Early reports are that it looks like Lambeau South.

Mid 70's with 40% of showers throughout the game. Gonna feel like a preseason game for the Packers. Hope they don't play that way.

I didn't feel great about last week.

This week is different. I think the Packers roll today 40-20.

Bucs will hit a couple of big plays, but that'll be it.

The "blueprint" for beating Aaron Rodgers: Have the best front four in football, and wait for Rodgers to have an awful game.

Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

Wish I didn't have to.......why anybody even here in Chicago would want to watch the Bears is beyond me though it does have a nice train wreck vibe, I guess. They better flex the Packers-Lions to the national slot next week! Packer will win going away today......Packers 42, Bucs 17

    Packers 30

    Bucs 17

Rodgers and Receivers won't suck 2 weeks in a row. No Gerald McCoy is a big loss for the Bucs. Eddie should have some running room if he can see. Bucs won't lay over though. They've had a lot of close games.

Oh -- and if you can somehow convince a wide-open Jordy Nelson to drop a gimme long TD pass, that'll help your "blueprint."

Carl Bradford must really suck. ILB's have all the depth of Anna Nicole Smith, but he can't get himself activated.
