The Brabham Tasman BT23A-1 V8. It is a one-off prototype for the BT24, which won the world championship in 1967.

I personally think it's ugly as hell, but I respect the heck out of Elon for bringing a concept style car to market. It's very unique and I am sure they'll sell a lot of 'em*

    * Probably not as many if it looked like a normal Chevy Colorado or somethin' though.

It looks like an origami body on the chassis of some kind of Skynet APC.

I think I like it. Looking like it is intended to go from A to B through riot and upheaval is a whole new level of flexing on the poors.

Based on his prior work, I imagine as ugly as it is, it’s very well thought out.

The design solves a couple of their biggest manufacturing problems.
    1) They don't need complex stamping equipment - just cut and bend the steel, which should make the body panels fit properly.
    2) They don't have to worry about shoddy paintwork and the associated rusting.

Personally if we are going for new classics, I'll take one of these:
Fire Murphy, Gute, MLF, Barry, Senavich, etc!

The Tesla truck looks like a moon buggy from a 1960s sci-fi movie.
