Thread: Official 2015 Packerrats Draft Contest

  1. #61
Prior to Round 1, mock draft consensus was that there was no consensus: http://profootball.scout.com/3/MDMTe...l?team=Packers

    Code:
    Stephone Anthony, MLB, Clemson 2
Denzel Perryman, MLB, Miami (Fl)	2
    Alex Carter, CB, Stanford 1
Quinten Rollins, CB, Miami (Oh) 1
    Maxx Williams, TE, Minnesota 1
Michael Bennett, DT, Ohio State 1
    Paul Dawson, OLB, TCU 1
    Ellis McCarthy, DT, UCLA 1
Clive Walford, TE, Miami (Fl) 1
Duke Johnson, RB, Miami (Fl) 1
P.J. Williams, CB, Florida State	1
Mario Edwards, DE, Florida State	1
Wes Saxton, TE, South Alabama 1
There are three votes in there for DBs that would now go elsewhere. I agree that the 3 down ILBs will all go down in the second round. Just depends on how much Ted wants to replace Clay in base and whether or not he thinks these guys can play the thumper role.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

BPA is BPA. Would anyone be upset with Rollins or Rowe in 2rd? Not me.

    yes and no

i like rollins a lot better then i like the guy we just drafted

    but

WE ONLY HAVE 1 ILB ON THE ROSTER, we need 2 starters

if you don't like any of the ILBs in the draft, then trade the damn pick and get one. eagles were asking for a second for kendricks. he's better then anything we've had at ILB for years

Packers might not agree with you.

yes, but if you ask me, the packers staff is full of fucking idiots

the kid from ASU should have been made an ILB last year, but even though we were weak as shit there, he couldn't cut it

but now he's suppose to be able to magically make the switch? with our awesome coaching staff?

despite what fat fuck mike says, we have 1 ILB on the roster

  6. #66
I think ILB, if there is a legit 2nd rounder at the position, should probably be the pick. Hopefully one of Kendricks/McKinney/Dawson are there. Might be a good round to trade up. But, that depends on how the Packer personnel people view all the available ILBs in the whole of the draft.

ya gotta temper this a bit. You're not leaving room for the 25 plus teams that aren't as good as GB. I mean, what possible words are left to describe Cleveland?

I think dunderdummy is going to go with playing the dime as his base... no need for another ILB.

    Stopping the run is unnecessary.

i think we might see the 1-2-8 formation this year.

    or the 0-2-9

Here's hoping TT reads PackerRats and pays attention to Vince's 4 - 7 picks. C'mon, TT, get us a thumper!
One time Lombardi was disgusted with the team in practice and told them they were going to have to start with the basics. He held up a ball and said: "This is a football." McGee immediately called out, "Stop, coach, you're going too fast," and that gave everyone a laugh.
