Often Wrongly Blamed Defensive Coordinator, Dom Capers

Michael Cohen ‏@Michael_Cohen13 13h13 hours ago
Dom Capers said the attitude his defense played with against the 49ers was really impressive. He is very pleased with his group.

Michael Cohen ‏@Michael_Cohen13 13h13 hours ago
Capers: "I've always felt with the number of young guys we have and guys playing different spots, if they stay tuned in we'll get better."

Green Bay Packers ‏@packers 13h13 hours ago
Capers on #GBvsSF: Obviously the 6 sacks we were pleased with. I thought there was constant disruption.

Michael Cohen ‏@Michael_Cohen13 13h13 hours ago
Capers said the pass rush pressure of late stems from being able to be stout against the run.

Michael Cohen ‏@Michael_Cohen13 13h13 hours ago
Capers: "By moving Clay inside, it's given other guys more playing time outside. ... The more opportunities you get, the better you get."

Green Bay Packers ‏@packers 13h13 hours ago
Capers on Clay Matthews: He's a unique guy. I always felt like he'd be a Pro Bowl outside or Pro Bowl inside linebacker.

Michael Cohen ‏@Michael_Cohen13 13h13 hours ago
Capers credits "continuity" for success of the run defense the last three weeks. Palmer comfortable, Matthews comfortable, Hyde settled.

Michael Cohen ‏@Michael_Cohen13 13h13 hours ago
Capers: "I thought our tackling was good yesterday. We've made some strides. That's a week-to-week thing as well"
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

'trying' is the relevant word there.

He was a tall lean guy. Wasn't Sean Jones, I don't think. Damn, who was he?

We have a winner. Classic pass rush specialist. I think Holliday would move to DT on passing downs if I remember correctly.

I think he got his chance to start with the Pack once Reggie retired. VH moved left and KM was on the right.

    Maybe.

After GB, I think he went to the Bears for a while. Last name started with an "M" ????
I think he came back to GB for a few games years later.

He was fairly good, but only for a few years. Even KGB lasted longer than McKenzie.

Keith was Reggie's nephew wasn't he? Reggie McKenzie, that is, not THE Reggie.
