Official Packers vs. Rams Game Day Thread

This will be a test. Rams can really get after the quarterback. They sacked Carson Palmer 4 times last week, and have 17 on the season, same as the Packers. They only have given up only 3 TD passes on the season, but only have 3 INT's. Teams haven't tried to run the ball a lot against the Rams, but have had some success when they did. Rams have given up 4.3 YPC, and have given up a league-worst 6 runs of 20+ yards. DC Gregg Williams love to blitz, but will he try it against Rodgers?

Offensively, Nick Foles has been very efficient, completing 63.1% of his passes, with 5 TD's and only 1 INT. Foles has spread the ball around, with no receiver having more than 14 receptions. Last week Todd Gurley ran for 146 yards against Arizona. He's an awesome talent.

Jeff Fisher always has his teams really ready to play in an underdog role. But his teams tend to be inconsistent. A team that has beaten Seattle and Arizona should be better than 2-2.

Rams will test the Packers, but Packers will pull away late.

    Packers 30
    Rams 20

    #Packers' inactives vs. Rams:
    Adams
    Hundley
    Richardson
    Gunter
    Burnett
    Ryan
    Taylor

Starting lineup changes: #89 James Jones will start at wide receiver in place of #17 Davante Adams. #33 Micah Hyde will start at safety in place of #42 Morgan Burnett.

    St. Louis Rams
    14 QB Sean Mannion
    31 S Maurice Alexander
    52 LB Alec Ogletree
    58 LB Jo-Lonn Dunbar
    63 T Darrell Williams
    69 G Cody Wichmann
    93 DL Ethan Westbrooks

As per team tradition, the Packers select game captains each week. Today’s captains will be TE Richard Rodgers (offense), DT Mike Daniels (defense) and P Tim Masthay (special teams).
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

Need to contain Gurley and then put some pressure on Foles
LIFE IS ABOUT CHAMPIONSHIPS; I JUST REALIZED THIS. The MILWAUKEE BUCKS have won the same number of championships over the past 50 years as the Green Bay Packers. Ten years from now, who will have more championships, and who will be the fart in the wind ?

Ogletree being out will be great for the offense. If they can't get pressure quickly, the underneath should be more viable.

Aaron Donald walked Sitton backwards on Rodgers run.

Well, that's what you get with a Gregg Williams defense. Nothing in the middle after a blitz and a pick play route.
