    Manziel

If he'd been drafted higher, Manziel would be in the running as one of the worst draft picks of all time, up there with Leaf and JaMarcus Russel.

Browns are done with him, and would've cut him already if they had the cap space. He isn't answering the phone when they call. Maybe I don't blame him for that, but you'd think he has some responsibility.

His dad tried to get him into rehab

    His agent dumped him

And the Dallas police would like to have a chat with him

Not to mention Honey Badger has offered his help, and Deon Sanders says it's his girlfriend's fault!

Looks like he won't be part of the 27 club, because he won't live that long.

What a fuck up. Talk about living with a silver spoon in your mouth your entire life and not being able to accept it being slapped out of your mouth by the NFL.

Completely wasted life. Pity Dallas didn't draft him, like Jerry Jones wanted. Factory of sadness traded up to get this loser, when they could have picked up Bridgewater instead.
Fire Murphy, Gute, MLF, Barry, Senavich, etc!

I wonder if he was drafted into a better situation and actually given the starting QB job if things would have been different for him. The Browns are a mess. I don't get drafting a guy with a huge hype train around him and then sitting him on the bench for Brian Hoyer. If Manziel was to flame out then give him the gasoline and the matches, but don't think the team would have any better record than they currently do.

You drafted a shitty individual and put him in a shitty spot with a shitty franchise, a shitty coach, and mostly shitty teammates. No wonder his career turned to shit.

I think its fair to say his football life might be done. But I suspect he has resources enough to continue to live a few years yet.

If Ryan Leaf can make it, so can Manziel.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

Just saw an article on him. He got loose (legally) in 2014. He works with other ex-cons in re-hab in SD or LA, I forget which. The article recounted the first game in which Peyton faced Leaf. Leaf outplayed Manning in that one. Probably the only positive memory in his Pro career.

He made it out of the whole football experience alive, if nothing else.

That article bugged me. When I quoted it, I kept thinking that I didn't remember that incident taking place. I looked it up & nothing like that happened. Indy won 17-12. Both QB's were 12 of 23 with a pick apiece. Only Peyton threw for a touchdown. Leaf had 23 more yards passing, but that ain't "outplayed".

    Don't believe these writer fuckers.

So when I think Manziel, I think Lawrence of Arabia, The Fugitive, Super 8. Don't know which one fits best.

But think how much Omar Sharif could help Johnny Football.

At this point Green Bay could probably get him as third string QB for a bargain.
