OLB Fackrell Kyler ... Utah St. Mountain West

    Pro Day Results

    Short shuttle: 4.31 seconds ... 3-cone: 7.24 seconds ... Bench: 16 reps of 225 pounds

    Draft Projection Round 3

    NFL Comparison Connor Barwin

Bottom Line When it comes to the length and athleticism teams will look for off the edge, Fackrell will be one of the poster boys.

His field versatility, coverage talent and potential as a pass rusher could make him one of the fastest rising prospects in this draft and a future contender for a Pro Bowl nod.

Really not sure why we need more OLB's when we already have 25 guys that we drafted/acquired to be D-Linemen playing the position.

A 6'5, 245 lbs OLB, in a pass happy conference, with 4 sacks??

He's soft - of course - and he's not athletic enough to get the edge... I don't get it.

LIFE IS ABOUT CHAMPIONSHIPS; I JUST REALIZED THIS. The MILWAUKEE BUCKS have won the same number of championships over the past 50 years as the Green Bay Packers. Ten years from now, who will have more championships, and who will be the fart in the wind ?

Wasn't that big a fan of the Clark pick, but I'm coming around.

I'm just excited that I actually know who these players are and had them on my list as players I liked.

Fackrell is 25, so how more is he going to grow, i.e. bulk up??

I like Elliot better than Fackrell... Fackrell was a guy I had on my "hope we don't draft list".

Pretty much zero pass rush... NFL tackles will eat him up.

How do you wind up with 15 tackles for loss and two forced fumbles and still be soft?
One time Lombardi was disgusted with the team in practice and told them they were going to have to start with the basics. He held up a ball and said: "This is a football." McGee immediately called out, "Stop, coach, you're going too fast," and that gave everyone a laugh.

Read the write-ups on him... I didn't write them. All of them say he's soft and gets pushed around.

He's active, he's a smart football player... if his athletic ability were commensurate with his football IQ he'd be a 1st round pick, but there's the rub - he's not athletic enough to get the edge, and not strong/powerful enough to bull rush.
