Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

    Geronimo Allison
    School: Illinois
    Position: WR

Positive: Junior-college transfer that's started the past two seasons, leading Illinois in all receiving categories last year with 65 receptions, 882 yards and 3 TDs. Productive college receiver effective running after the catch. Comes back to the ball out of breaks, displays a sense of timing on receptions and gets vertical to highpoint the ball over opponents. Quickly releases off the line into pass routes, has a fluid style and lays out or extends to make the difficult reception. Works back to the quarterback to make himself an available target, finds a way to separate from defenders and uses his frame to protect the pass. Keeps the play in bounds running after the catch and shows short area quickness. Possesses soft hands and looks the pass in.

Negative: Loses out in battles. Drops some catchable throws on occasion. One speed receiver who lacks a deep burst.

Analysis: Allison has shown consistent progress the past two years and would be solid addition as a fifth receiver primarily used to run underneath routes.
