    Nick Perry is the starter on defense. Julius Peppers is the pass rushing relief. I like it, if Perry can hold up.

    Try as they might to avoid placing so much pressure on one guy, that proportionality was established in March when the Packers rewarded Perry with a $5 million contract largely on the basis of playing two of the best games of his career in the playoffs. The Packers chose to re-sign Perry over veteran Mike Neal fully believing he could give them the best of two worlds.
    Also, don't forget Datone Jones is outside now as well.

    Is Springs only taking reps on the right side? Is that where they see him playing?

    I think MM had said earlier that Spriggs would be lining up at both T positions.

    Of course - it's what the Packers do.

    They play everyone all over the place, and it takes forever for a guy to settle in. Then an injury hits and they put their 6th lineman in, regardless of whether he can play the position or not; or better yet, they move 3 guys to accomadate 1 injury, and the line flounders around for weeks - all the while Rodgers running for his life.
