Ackers play strangely listlessly. Seahawks outmuscle and overwhelm on both sides. Russel Wilson escapes several seemingly sure sacks and runs for 17 on a third and 15. And throws to wideopen wide receivers. It's a clusterfuck, and tomorrow there are threads everywhere demanding regime change.

I dis-acknowledge this thread not only because because it doesn't say "official" in the title - but because it was not started by the the "winner" of the last game day thread per the PackerRats tradition.

The fuck is Thunder Dan at - and why the fuck has Red attempted to usurp his most cherished and sacred responsibility?

    Sad Captain is sad.

    Error. Error.

Dan is on 2 game win streak. Someone delete this abomination of red's.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

Adams and Nelson hitting stride, with Cook just now blending in and Cobb from the slot. Montgomery has barely been used. He's 5'11" and 220lbs. He can carry the load for a short season. Michael and Starks can relieve him. The offense is gonna roll. Rodgers got his balls back. He had an ugly mustache the other day, proof positive he's not falling for yokos perfect pretty boy preferences any more. Game on.

Randall and Rollins are hitting stride with Gunter and Hyde back as nickle/dime players. Matthews will get stronger week by week. Peppers is rested and ready. The interior is healthy and the young guys are just like starting to understand the NFL game. Blake and Jake are back. It's time to roll on defense.

Punter is punting well. Kicker is kicking well and Cobb is a darn good returner. STs hitting stride now too.

Seattle is good. Damn good. But they're missing their 12th man today, and their 13th (Thomas covering the back alone frees up another player.) Only one or two guys can do what Thomas does. We know what it's like. For a 2-3 year span, Collins did it. But he's gone and now we exploit the holes.

Offense rips it up. Defense holds strong. STs plays well. Packers 27, seachickens 17

Is it just me or does it seem like the Packers haven't had a 1pm game in an awful long time?

As for thunder dan being asleep at the wheel on starting official game thread, I can only suspect foul play is involved. No other duty is higher than discharging your obligation and local law authority should be notified soon.

Perhaps an Amber Alert is in order.

Stubby McLombardi has his team ready to kick some serious feathers.

    Packers 42 Seahawks 7
One time Lombardi was disgusted with the team in practice and told them they were going to have to start with the basics. He held up a ball and said: "This is a football." McGee immediately called out, "Stop, coach, you're going too fast," and that gave everyone a laugh.

One of my brothers is going to this game so I hope we don't lay an egg. Also, one of my wife's relatives is a huge Seattle fan. He just texted me from Seattle to bust my balls about how my world is going to be shattered today, but he'll have a beer for me. He says in reality the online odds suggest that Seattle will win a reasonably close one. We've been so off this year that I can't even bank on that really. Maybe it'll be close, maybe not.

Usually, I don't mind losing to teams that I think we may see in the playoffs since I think its really hard to beat a good team twice in a year. However, we managed to do that with this team just a couple of years ago. Losing to them in the regular season (albeit 1st game) and then again in the playoffs. Also, we don't have much wiggle room to lose many more games if we want to make the playoffs at all. We just struggle mightily with this team so I hope we at least don't crap the bed today.
