Nice piece on former Bear Doug Plank: http://deadspin.com/secrets-of-a-hit...fls-1455135275
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

Bengals released LB Rey Maualuga, not a big surprise after Cincy signed LB Kevin Minter.

Has he fallen that far that fast, or was it a money thing?

Bring him in for the right price, remember he played with a Clay at USC so he might have interest playing here.

    This!

Why not for the right price? Allows Clay the opportunity to roam the whole defensive line and come for any direction, or not.

he's a run stuffer only, can't cover for shit, we already have 2 of those guys at ILB

because of that, he only started a handful of games last year and put up pathetic numbers

he only played 30% of the defensive snaps, despite playing in 14 games

Mualauga can't run anymore. It happens. Brandon and I are on the wrong side of 30 now, too.

Ahh well at least you're giving Ponch and Jon some credit for being run stuffers.

you never know with oakland, they had very loyal fans

they could show up and boo that throw shit on the field for 2 years

or the team could be playing in from of an empty stadium for 2 years, that should put a little dent in the teams and nfls pocket

It doesn't matter when they are that rich, they can pay to get laid.

But you would think someone would tell them? I think it's a challenge to see if they can get laid with that haircut, without paying for it.

Exactly. Pay someone to tell you that you look like a monstrous, mutated ginger version of elderly Paul Simon.

New Bills HC Sean McDermott says @micah_hyde will start out at safety, calls him a quality person too. That's not breaking news in GB

    The 6 million dollar safety.

Cowboys TE Jason Witten has signed a four-year extension through 2021, per @toddarcher. May outlast Brady.

He might not outlast Brady, but at this rate his contract will.

I think this was just a strategy to help their salary cap.

    I don't hold Grudges. It's counterproductive.

Shariff Floyd's career is apparently in jeopardy. Vikings seem to be getting hit hard by career-ending injuries. The Packers have had their share (Tim Lewis, Johnny Holland, Brian Noble, Sterling Sharpe, Nick Collins, Jermichael Finley, Sam Shields, etc.), but you hate to see this no matter what team the guy plays for.

"There's a lot of interest in the draft. It's great. But quite frankly, most of the people that are commenting on it don't know anything about what they are talking about."--Ted Thompson
