Yes he does. A little surprising that that's the case now. I can see it around the draft, or when he's out scouting. But the only scouting to be done now is watching practice.

The native of Samoa is the younger brother of Jonathan Fanene, who played for the Bengals and Patriots. He should provide depth after rookie third-round DT Montravius Adams had foot surgery and is expected to miss multiple weeks. Fanene likely will take the roster spot of cornerback Herb Waters, who is expected to be placed on injured reserve because of a shoulder injury.

Did any of you truly believe this kid had a chance to make the final 53? I feel bad for the player but this isn't a huge loss.

Whitt said Herb Waters was maybe their best cover corner in the off season drills. He said Waters was at the point that Tramon Williams was when he suddenly became a starter, seemingly out of no where. Just needed to continue it when the pads went on.
