Yup, the Cowboys tried to preempt the arbitration ruling. That arbitration is completely different from the legal battle in court to see if the league has the right to suspend Elliott in the manner they did. There is now legal case history on this with the Brady battle. I am guessing that once again the NFL will win and Elliott will lose. The damn CBA that the NFLPA agreed to live with says Goddell has the power to do it.
