Brooks had a sack, a tackle for a loss and 2 QB hurries
One time Lombardi was disgusted with the team in practice and told them they were going to have to start with the basics. He held up a ball and said: "This is a football." McGee immediately called out, "Stop, coach, you're going too fast," and that gave everyone a laugh.

Maybe the communication failure was on Jones, but the actual coverage belonged to Burnett and he just botched it.

    End zone play?

I think it was Martinez who should have taken it.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

BTW, might Jones take Burnett's starting job?

Little early for that. Is Dix hurt? If he is, Jones would work into that spot quickly.

I was wondering that too. Watching the game on TV, I saw very little of him on the field. Either he wasn't in or he was so far out in center field doing such a good job that no action went his way. If anybody knows for sure, inquiring minds want to know.
What could be more GOOD and NORMAL and AMERICAN than Packer Football?

Packers had Evans playing deep center field most of the game. Clinton-Dix was playing up on the line. With Ryan hurt, Burnett and Jones were playing LB most of the game.
But Rodgers leads the league in frumpy expressions and negative body language on the sideline, which makes him, like Josh Allen, a unique double threat.

Here is 'the Big Picture and this awesome game and Packer 'W'.

The Games Stat's are here as well.

I thought that the Team of Nace and Romo brought a lot to this game. Tony Romo deserves a Big Raise already;he has it !

I would take Romo and Nance over Aikman and Buck any day of the week.

When, if ever, was the last time the Packers won a game they had never led up until the last play of the game?

I dunno, but I loved it.

In a minor "one of a kind quirk" both punters had 6 punts for 296 yards.

Both teams also had stars born. Jones appears to be a special guy as does Mixon, the Cincy RB.

Cincy RB Joe Mixon had a solid game with 101 combined yards. 62 yards Rushing and 39 Receiving.

Including the 27 yd shank? If so then Vogel was really booming them.

Vogel was hitting 60+ yard punts after the shank.

Yes, if Vogel continues to punt like that I think we found a good one.

Jones is a LB. He won't take Burnett's spot. He's the start MLB though.

He is a safety. Burnette's back-up on the depth chart.

With the "4 safeties" defense we are playing, Jones will get some looks as a hybrid LB.

I thought that's was Ted was thinking when he drafted Jones. Kind of a Deion Jones type of guy.
One time Lombardi was disgusted with the team in practice and told them they were going to have to start with the basics. He held up a ball and said: "This is a football." McGee immediately called out, "Stop, coach, you're going too fast," and that gave everyone a laugh.

After thinking about it, replacing Burnett's experience is ridiculous idea. And ya, Jones'd be a strong safety. Replacing Ha Ha is out of question too.

    Blake Martinez 6-2 237
    Joe Thomas 6-1 227
    Josh Jones 6-2 220
    HaHa 6-1 208
    Morgan Burnet 6-1 209

Jones is a tweener, but looks more like a lanky safety to me

Seems like Jones needs to be on field every down

If anything Jones will take over the Nitro MLB spot and send Burnett back to safety. That will be a bit though. Rook has some growing to do. He looks the part so far.
