Legal? Not hardly. Leading with the helmet. They weren't even going to call it until Adams was injured though. Hey, if they don't blow the call on McCray, Adams gets a TD and doesn't get knocked out.

I don't care if the ref had to make up a rule to call that. It needs to be called, fined, suspended, etc. That shit will kill the game.

I don't know what separates receiver from runner while tackling, but you can't go helmet to helmet unless you have a running coming at you basically.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

Fox should have taken him out of the game.

you can lead with helmet against a runner. Once a receiver runs upfield under control, he is a runner.

That short assed Bear defender needs to be suspended for the rest of this Season for that assault on Adams. That hit was fricken unnecessary.

A damn fine isn't good enough there.

they ruled defenseless receiver. your point would be valid otherwise.

It's bad when the best you can hope for is a concussion. That shit can jeopardize careers and worse.

I am not sure it comes under defenseless receiver. But he wasn't a runner in the middle of the field either.

Helmet to helmet is controlled by more than defenseless receiver now I *think*.

Prayers for Adams as a human. That was Bush fucking league.

running backs use their helmet as weapon against defenders all the time. Those defensive guys are just standing there.

I could be wrong about the rules, maybe we will learn this week.
