Didn't they trade 4 draft picks to move up and get him, too?? There goes your supporting personnel. I suppose they'll Bearify Trubisky's career by trading draft picks for washed-up free agents down the road. Then flush the whole thing down the toilet in 3-4 years.

Exactly. That is a coach and a GM who aren't in control of the situation anymore and are just reacting to stave off criticism.

If he needed to sit for a year and play sparingly, take the hit, draft high, go get a reasonable veteran backup next year.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

When Trubisky hit his first few passes last night, Bears fans reacted as if they saw fire made for the first time.

I suppose it's too early to label Trubisky the new Cutler ....... but man, watching that game, it sure came to mind.
What could be more GOOD and NORMAL and AMERICAN than Packer Football?

What we learned (and didn't learn) in Week 5 of NFL
    ** Since 2006 3 X Pro Pickem' Champion; 4 X Runner-Up and 3 X 3rd place.

** If God doesn't fish, play poker or pull for " the Packers ", exactly what does HE do with his buds?

This is the slickest Two Point Play I've ever seen and it happened in last night's MNF Game Minny @ Chicago:

They stole this from the Bucs. From the Year 2000.

Let’s talk about that 2 point play http://footballscoop.com/news/lets-talk-2-point-play/

Confirmed by @AdamHoge: Bears OC Dowell Loggains saw the Bucs run the 2-pointer in 2000.

Lions goin' down to N'Awlins. Let's see if their moribund offense wakes up, and if their playing-over-their-heads defense wakes up to reality.
