As the rule is written, it is certainly legal. However, it was totally avoidable, and totally unnecessary to make the play. I see it as dirty, and actually reminds me a of Sapp's hit on Clifton. Legal, but you look at it and shake your head.

Should be a catch and fumble.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

I have less sympathy for the ball carrier. He was running around, spinning in place in the middle of the field. You have to know someone is coming.

But I agree, its not necessary.

    DB spun the WR down.

Looked like PI to me...and how was stepping over him not unsportsmanlike?

Foles pulled the Brady play. It worked!

They had a former QB in at WR which would give that away every time from now on and it was a direct snap.

    So sorta.

Brady's age...2 or 3 at least. Either in the 'this 40 year old man still has it' or 'has father time caught up with this 40 year old quarterback'. No way Collingworth doesn't harp on that.

Temperature outside the stadium? It's minus damn 20C, no way that doesn't get mentioned.
I wonder if there was an over/under line on # of Matt Patricia appearances? We have to be at a dozen by now

The funny thing is I don't think he's any slower than he was when he was a rookie.
