Frankly, one of our biggest problems has been Rodgers, or our expectations of how Rodgers should be playing. In past years you could count on one finger the number of poor throws he might make in a game. This year, every game, he seems to make at least 5 bad throws.

That, coupled with young receivers learning on the job, completely stalls drives. When you can't move down the field in quick strike fashion, and you must put together long, sustained drives with a lot of running plays. A single, misfired pass ends the drive.

A single, hold the ball moment where you take a sack, ends the drive. A single pass thrown that does not lead the receiver, but forces him to lose forward momentum and come up short of a first down, ends the drive. These things happen all too often this year.

Yes, seriously. I am to the point where I almost think Aaron is a coach killer. I believe that there is a weird perception here that MM is only sending 4 players deep play after play, which is of course nonsense. I think most of the blame falls on ARod and short of the run-the-table anomaly, he has been basically garbage since they lost to Seattle in the NFCC.

I am not sure who is a big enough, respected enough coach to reign in ARod. He has no fundamentals and looks lost out there. I am not totally convinced his injuries over the years, 3 "season enders", have taken their toll and he's washed up. His footwork is garbage and the results obviously follow that. Kid likes to practice throwing the ball while falling over and not having the seams, well the dude cannot even sling a basic spiral right now so clearly the advanced phD style practicing isn't paying off.

Can anyone else remember a 34 year old QB getting their grove back? I guess maybe Rich Gannon but I can't think of anybody else.

Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

I am not sure those guys went from complete shells of themselves back to star level players. Rod is playing like a back-up right now.

You'll know it when we get to Paul MacDonald and Brian Sipe. Or Mike Phipps.

No longer the member of any fan clubs. I'm tired of jinxing players out of the league and into obscurity.

OK, he was 32. But I still think it counts.
