And other betters won 9 million dollars. This is parimutuel betting. The same amount is paid out whoever was the winner.
To me personally, it was an easy DQ to call. The leader swung out of his lane and impeded multiple horses. It doesn't matter if there is a puddle.
The problem that horse racing has is that foul completely changes the outcome like two cars in NASCAR bumping and taking 6-7 others out of the race. The best 5 cars are out of the race and the car that could never have finished in the top 3 wins the race.
But Rodgers leads the league in frumpy expressions and negative body language on the sideline, which makes him, like Josh Allen, a unique double threat.
