Most of us have been to professional sporting events at Stadiums, Race Tracks, or Arenas. We expect to get robbed for good seat tickets, fleeced for food / beer / or snacks from the concessions, and revolted by the facilities if you just must relieve yourself. Parking can be a real nightmare and rude fans should always be expected. It can be Ice Cold or Steaming Hot as the event plays out.

We put up with a lot to say,"we were there". Each of us deals with the negatives differently to watch a game or car race or other sporting event. Share your story/stories here. From getting the best tickets for the least money, to pre stadium strategies, what to bring/not bring with you, to living with the overpriced beer/concessions, to leaving early vs waiting for the crowd to thin out before exiting. How do you prepare/deal with bad weather? Is it better to park a few miles away and take a cab to/from the event?

I look forward to some interesting post and thanks to those that share their stories.
