Excellent post. I ask my family to take me out for dinner every year for Christmas. The time eating and sharing stories is better than any gift I have ever received.
But Rodgers leads the league in frumpy expressions and negative body language on the sideline, which makes him, like Josh Allen, a unique double threat.

All are free to celebrate/not celebrate holidays as they please. Like so many others, I too cringe at the ever increasing greed and unabashed advertising that increasingly attaches itself to every holiday now. Christmas has become the retailers yearly "BIG SALE EVENT". The shameless commercialism however can't erase my holiday traditions/spirit. Presents are a traditional custom, but some go overboard with it. For some it has even become an opportunity to show off their wealth with showy gifts like cars or pianos or expensive jewelry

For me, gifts say how we thought enough of another to present them with a gift that fills a need or fits their uniqueness. A simple dress shirt can have more personal value than a non-personal gift costing much more. A set of pot holders for the kitchen can have more real personal value than gift certificate.

It's my hope that this season some portion of holiday cheer/spirit will fill at least some small corner of those hearts that have been occupied by darkness and negativity.

+1. The Christmas schwag in the retail stores right after Halloween makes me puke in my mouth.

One of our best Christmas mornings: we loaded a bunch of gift bags and gave them to the homeless. Kids didn't open a gift until after lunch. Kids didn't bat an eye.

Boy, have you turned into a soft warm vagina.

Also, what the fuck is this fuck of a thread? Over ten years of this crazy forum and people are still blabbering on about their feelings and low blow personal attacks. These motherfuckers would have never lasted during the wild west days of this place. Remember when I used Partial's nipples as my avatar for like 3 months before he realized that picture was of his own nipples?

    You crazy fuck!!

Yeah I have turned softer than a flour tortilla. Life will beat you into submission like that I guess.

But it is good you are back. Radagast (this thread starter) might be lookin for a mentor. Someone to teach him the ways of the forum world. He could be your new skinbasket.

I’m pretty sure everyone has selective amnesia when it comes to the battles of the old times here.

Its evident that posting rules are selectively applied. I don't need a mentor to see that the majority of this forum's members are a few lessons light on basic civility training. Drug dealers, zombies, serial criminals, and vulgar comedians are their heros. Trashing things like Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc. is for them a perverse delight.

Yes, I now see that my words only serve to just stir up the garbage. Its true that I've tried to introduce clean and valad threads to this site, then the race begins to post the insults, vulgar comments, and gutter slang. I find it sad that their lives are so miserable and that such behavior eases their unhappy lives.

As for those that do post with civility and intelligence, I say thank you. Your post serve to brighten up the site and remind me that there are still a few good people around.

Before Mara Salvatrucha became a feared international criminal organization they were a bunch of lost kids, newly arrived in Southern Cal after fleeing the Central American civil wars, trying to figure out what this Satanic metal thing called AC/DC was. Mara Salvatrucha Stoner was their name.

Massages; can't go wrong getting a chick a massage package.
LIFE IS ABOUT CHAMPIONSHIPS; I JUST REALIZED THIS. The MILWAUKEE BUCKS have won the same number of championships over the past 50 years as the Green Bay Packers. Ten years from now, who will have more championships, and who will be the fart in the wind ?

With Christmas 8 days off, most have their tree and holiday decorations in place. I'll be shopping at the grocery store for holiday treats as well as the basic weekley needs. I'm going to surprise our family Christmas gathering with a special appetiser, sausage balls. Simple to prepare and great holiday treats.

I have a tradition of including a sample bottle of liquor with each gift. Each selected to fit the taste of the gift receiver. Scotch, Bourbon, Vodka, Rum, and Tequila will be distributed. The little bottles fit nicely with the Shirt or Sweater or Pajamas they will be receiving.

    STOCKING STUFFERS

    Chap Stick
    Salted Peanuts (small bags)
    Hard Candy (individually wrapped)
    Batteries (size as needed)
    Shaving Razor
    A mini-flashlight
    A ball point pen
A pair of small house scissors
A small child's toy (yoyo, recorder, slinky, etc.)
    An electric toothbrush
    A calculator

    Merry Christmas !

Name a star "Epstein didn't kill himself" for them
Neodynmium fishing magnet and box of 9mm
    Neti pot full of whiskey
    Regular duty extension cord
Gas station boner pills (individually wrapped)
A list of funny youtube URLs

Take a bag of groceries to that shut in neighbor or family member that could use the help.
Donate a toy to "Toys for Tots" or to your local children's hospital.
Say thanks to your auto mechanic or your neighbor or etc. that helped you through a rough time. A bottle of Wine or Liquor often works nicely.
Give blood through the Red Cross or some other recognised organization.
Say a prayer for our Servicemen/women serving in harm's way or just away from their families.
Put a Christmas Card in the mailbox of that person who is carrying on a one sided feud with you. It could start a thaw that might lead to an occasional wave or howdy from them.

    Happy Holidays !
