    GB trades back for a 5th rounder; at least it's not a 3rd )
LIFE IS ABOUT CHAMPIONSHIPS; I JUST REALIZED THIS. The MILWAUKEE BUCKS have won the same number of championships over the past 50 years as the Green Bay Packers. Ten years from now, who will have more championships, and who will be the fart in the wind ?

Another meh pick. Another pseudo project instead of a guy that can actually contribute from day one.

    Draft Ace?

Welp, out of the so called "Top Tier" Tight Ends" that were available today, Musgrave was the one that I liked the least - but what the hell do I know.

Musgrave is a talent. If you’re building a TE, it would look like him. He was finally going to be featured in the offense, but got injured. Probably would have been TE2 with a full season. Better blocker than Kincaid. He’s willing and has the size to be adequate in the NFL.

Definitely defense or QB. That is the Packer way.

Even Gutes not that dumb. Position of need AND best available.

Or… Let’s trade back and get more picks. One of them would be there in 4 picks (until they aren’t). We’ve done that plenty. *♂️

I’ll take the pseudo OL tight end Washington now to fit MLF system…then grab the athlete Kuntz later.

heres the note on musgrave from draftace

Prototypical build for an in-line tight end. Decent speed, but a straight-line athlete. Primarily a middle-of-the-field possession receiver who takes what the defense allows. No YAC ability 一 doesn’t break tackles, doesn’t make anyone miss in the open field. Just not enough dynamic athleticism to his game. Inconsistent hands, which is especially concerning given his athletic profile 一 you want him a quarterback’s security blanket who converts every time he’s called upon. Average blocking ability, but has size/length to improve in this area. Coming off a season-ending knee injury. Special teams experience will help him find an immediate role as he develops as a tight end. Should be viewed as a developmental prospect with a modest ceiling given his limitations as a pass-catcher.

Well that sounds like a horrible choice

    Here's another take:
Luke Musgrave is a well-sized, dynamic vertical TE with room to grow into his frame. He doesn't provide much after the catch in terms of wiggle but is plenty athletic enough to get open, particularly on the vertical route tree. He's quick and fast down the field. His blocking leaves a fair amount to be desired, but he has the size and athleticism to mature into a decent blocker in the NFL. For teams looking for serious downfield, seam-stretching juice at the TE position, this is the guy in this class.
Sounds like what the Packers need. They haven't been able to attack the seam in a decade+.
Fire Murphy, Gute, MLF, Barry, Senavich, etc!
