Seems like they are leaning towards quick, penetrating disrupter types instead of big ole space eaters.

Are you talking about the Packers or RashanGary's girlfriend?

6th rounder Brooks looks more like a DT on paper, 6-3, 300 lbs. Probably a dev guy since he played in the MAC. Rushed off the edge some. Still looking for the new Keith McKenzie?

Karl Brooks is an interesting pick. Standup rusher at 300 pounds, I'd assume he's playing DT for them. Like I said with Wooden, they needed bodies at DL, but it's a curious pick. I haven't looked at him at all, I'll have to go back and watch him.
He's apparently very good at pass rushing so they are adding that to the DL. Not much emphasis on stopping the run, but I guess they already have the bit NT types with guys like Slaton and Johnathon Ford.

Have to think they take a look at S soon.

Safeties? We don't need no stinkin' safeties!

Apparently we don't. Crickets on that front. Maybe Joe Barely is inventing a new defense that requires no safeties at all.

You never know, although I wouldn't think Barry the creative type to come up with that.
I thought it was very interesting that after the Van Ness pick, Gute mentioned more than once that there were high expectations for the defense. Gute may not have say in the coaching staff, but it's clear Barry is on a very hot seat. All those high draft picks and you can't look competent for half the season at best.

I heard some scuttlebutt about them being interested in a trade with ARI involving Budda Baker but I'm not sure how that fits with the cap unless they send Savage back lol.

At least they traded down to get a kicker, not up. Still would rather they just signed Parker Romo from San Antonio in the XFL.
Fire Murphy, Gute, MLF, Barry, Senavich, etc!

Carlson has the pedigree, but man it is going to feel bad if this is JK Scott again.

Bears pick a punter. Good choice given how often they punt.

O-linemen selected in 4 of the last 7 picks before our spot at 232...

Kinda wondering if the Packers are just picking dudes with cool names at this point.

In round 7, that's probably as good as any strategy.

Grant DuBose and Moro Ojomo still on the board. Keaton Mitchell too. Just sayin.

Will be curious to see who they bring in as UDFAs

Not a safety in the group at the moment

No idea who that dude is. A CB from Kentucky who has trouble staying with receivers was the scouting report on ESPN.
Cool name tho. Worthy of a soap opera.

Carrington Valentine? I think he starred in "All My Children."

That name is right up there with Shemale Jean Claude Van Damme. Probably same talent level, too. Special teams, baby!

Lew Nichols III, RB Central Michigan

Kind of a bowling ball runner IIRC
