I didn't take it that way, seemed more like they wouldn't have looked his way if Bisaccia hadn't vouched for him. I guess I took Gute at face value. It certainly doesn't seem like they are handing the kid the job though.Originally Posted by RashanGary
It's an R6 pick and considering they didn't even have a R6 pick entering the draft I think they're fine with it as long as they get a kicker whether it's Carlson, White or some other dude they bring in.
He was a Second team All-American in 2020 before all his injuries, so maybe with better health he can return to form, but there's a pretty high probability he doesn't pan out.
