Little known fact about Christine Watson: Before she landed at North Dakota State, Watson was cut by the Wisconsin - Stevens Point D3 football program. Apparently, UWSP’s head football coach, Dick Bennett Jr., cut Watson for having a vag.

Whatever over/under Vegas has for the number of games Watson will play this year, sign me up for the under.

#Packers elevate Innis Gaines, Patrick Taylor
Packers not elevating a WR from practice squad so they must be very confident Doubs will play.

Four backs against the Bears gives you a clue into their plans.

He probably won't ever be great, but he should be playing right now at RT with Tom at C. But hey, they would rather have the better personality botching snaps I guess.

I just don't get it. I understand his talent is otherworldly and he just isn't motivated enough to maximize it, but Yosh at 80% is NFL starter. Sometimes you have to accept who a guy is and win games.

Wilson might not be active, and Taylor is up for special teams.
Fire Murphy, Gute, MLF, Barry, Senavich, etc!

    Things to watch for today:

Love and his poise, command of the offense and ability to extend drives

WR - Doubs is not a deep threat - will one of the rooks step up?

DL - we’ve been terrible at run defense under lafleur and face a mostly ground attack today

ST - a whole new group of specialists - could win or lose it for us.

I don’t know enough about this team to make a prediction. But road division games are always hard. And our last two opening games were duds.

Going with my previous prediction, win, 20-17. Carlson either makes 2 FG or misses an XP.

Defense will have to hold up and get the final stop for the win.

Lambs vs. Seachickens out here on the left coast, so I will just catch the highlights.

How do we feel about this after that turd Myers gave birth to yesterday?
    I don't hold Grudges. It's counterproductive.

Myers was better in pass pro than in the run game. I don't think the fumbled snap was on him, I think that was on Love. Andrew Billings gave him some trouble. Overall I'd say Myers was a mixed bag, you could do worse. They'll look to get him better competition next offseason. If he doesn't improve maybe they put Tom at C, but I think they'll keep Myers in the game. He's a R2 pick and you gotta play him until you can't.

Tom looks like a bonafide tackle. Honestly, so does Rasheed Walker. Walker makes it look easy. We have our two tackles of the future. You can’t waste either of them at center or guard.

Meyers is a decent pass protector and a bad run blocker. He’s serviceable for now. But you look to replace him through the draft ASAP

Bears Twitter is a really fun place the last three days. They really thought fields was it. And they’re still not admitting reality, but they’re starting to consider that maybe he’s not. They’re not in a good place. Check in on your Bears fan friends.

Tex, you crazy old shyster, you were onto Aaron Jones and Big Bob Tonyan being better than the roster fodder we all assumed on days 1 of each of their careers, so sometimes your kookery is more like being a profit, but damn, the other 90% of the time it’s just flat out wild. You wildin’ bruh!

JT O’Sullivan has a qb school YouTube channel. He broke down Justin fields. He had all sorts of options down the field that O’Sullivan insists have to be thrown and fields keeps taking checkdowns.

Man, we’re lucky that our guy seems to get it. If this works out, we’ve got to be the luckiest fan base ever to get three in a row.

Yet the huge majority of the Packers run success the past couple of years has been through the Guard/Center hole. It wasn't like that before Myers came along, not even with Linsley who got almost as much praise as the Sacred Cow. There's a group of dumbasses in here who seem to be be in denial of that. RG, ya'all should open your eyes - and maybe believe what you see.

I saw a breakdown of the Packers offense by a football guy on Twitter (don’t remember who) but he said Lafleur on week 1 had the most diversity in run plays in the league. Said he ran everything. Maybe they decided with all 2nd year players or better that they would make the run game more complex rather than making the pass game complex. In that case, Meyer isn’t doing the same runs over and over that he’s used to and has to make different kinds of blocks that he’s not used to?

    Or maybe he had hemorrhoids.
Or maybe he'd gotten into a fight with his girlfriend and was distracted.
Or maybe it's his rookie year and he's still on a steep learning curve.

Or maybe he's just not playing well. Period.
