Thread: Official Saints at Packers game day thread

Very poor first half for the Packers. With half the roster watching from the sidelines, you can’t go out and commit penalty after penalty. The coaches did not have the team ready to play.

MLF has to figure out the injury thing. It isn’t normal for a team to have this many injuries to start the season.

Week one historically doesn't count for much. As soon as there's film out there, a good team can work on a young team.

Hopefully by the end of the year, we'll stop making stupid mistakes and show improvement.

Love's been running for his life back there. I think he still looks pretty good.

The Saints having no trouble with our defense.

Barry is going to put MLF on the coaching hot seat if this continues.

The defense hasn’t been great, but they have no chance if the offense can’t score a single point in a half of football.

Well said. I didn't have much expectations for this season, but the week 1 win got me pumped and thought this team would be much better than what we have seen the last two weeks. I especially thought the defense would be somewhat improved, but they are just horrible. Don't know if it's Barry or the players, but somethings gotta change.

Packers have to score a TD coming out of halftime, or the game is over. Can MLF craft a drive that doesn’t get completely derailed by stupid penalties?

Packets with 5 Pro Bowlers plus Watson out. They.re not good enough to overcome that against a good team.

Saints D is for real. Ours is not. Young offense looks flustered playing a good defense.

except for when he has to throw the ball more the 10 yards down the field

Not a lot to be excited about in the first half.

Love has looked decent despite all the adversity.
The Saints defense is pretty solid, our defense is not.
Team looked undisciplined and unprepared from the start.

Resting players for the Thu game does nothing for us.

Down and distance has killed offense today.
