THE OFFICIAL PACKER PANTHER GAMEDAY THREAD

16 minutes into Gameday now. This is a first for me. I never cared to start one before, but MadTown asked, and I couldn't say no.

This really ought to be an easy win. For that reason, I wouldn't mind at all starting it again next week - and running the table all the way to the Super Bowl if miracles really can happen. How unlikely did it seem at this point back in 2011 or whenever it was that we needed to run the table and did?

Yeah yeah, one game at a time, and this is the first. Go Pack Go!
What could be more GOOD and NORMAL and AMERICAN than Packer Football?

May you run the table, Tex.

Ain’t nothing like being around that Fast and Furious shit, family, prior to Jesus’ false birthday and watching the Green and Mustard Yellow on the tube. Even better, I ain’t gotta flip burgers tonight!

    Power to the Packers!

PS, NFL: please flex the Pack-Queens game out of next week’s the Sunday night slot! Some of us, involuntarily, flip burgers during the graveyard shift.

    Embrace the tank, Tex!!

The young OL (Rasheed, Tom, Rhyan) all have great games
    Love balls out!!
Whoever we have at skill positions all ball out and show they’re real
All young players on defense play great
All young special teams players play great

AND WE LOSE BECAUSE OF BARRY, AJ Dillon and Darnell Savage

We get a high pick, upgrade the posiiitns of need and win the Owl next year!!

That would be like getting a Christmas present under the tree, except it’s a steaming pile of dog diarrhea.

No thanks. Don’t want that. You assume that picks a few slots up will translate into great players, but who knows?

The Carolina beat writer thinks this will be close until the fourth quarter but the Packers pull away. Clearly, he’s not familiar with Joe Barely’s MO.

    Go Pack Go.
But Rodgers leads the league in frumpy expressions and negative body language on the sideline, which makes him, like Josh Allen, a unique double threat.

Packers are in a tough spot. Even with 3 wins to finish the season, we need to get past 4 teams. And 2 of the 4, ATL and NO, have just about as easy schedule as we do to finish the year.

My hope is we have a bunch of entertaining shoot outs to finish the season and finish with a winning record.

As long as one of those wins is against the Bears, I am all on board with your hope here.

If there’s ever a game that matters less to me, it’s this one. Too many other things to do for Xmas than pay attention to this worthless game.

Consider yourself lucky, that you have things to do for Christmas. It's a blessing.

I have no one to see, nothing to really do, so I may go in search of a sports bar that is open and is showing the game. Might be a hard find today.

Cool!! Shizz has been rough that last two weeks. We were flying very high until reality check came.

It’s great Tex started the thread because he is always extremely optimistic and that is what this young team needs to finish strong.

LIFE IS ABOUT CHAMPIONSHIPS; I JUST REALIZED THIS. The MILWAUKEE BUCKS have won the same number of championships over the past 50 years as the Green Bay Packers. Ten years from now, who will have more championships, and who will be the fart in the wind ?

Packers have won 7 in a row on Christmas Eve. https://www.packers.com/news/packers...stmas-eve-2023

    I think we know why.

Good news/bad news for the #Packers: RB AJ Dillon (broken thumb) will be active, while rising young WR Jayden Reed (toe/chest) is set to be inactive, sources say.

    Both were questionable.

    inactives:

    Green Bay Packers

    9 WR Christian Watson
    11 WR Jayden Reed
    22 CB Robert Rochell
    26 S Darnell Savage
    57 LB Brenton Cox Jr.
    59 LB De'Vondre Campbell
    72 T Caleb Jones

The math says the Packers, at this very moment in space-time, have a 93% chance of making the playoffs if they win out. Then again, as Ray Rhodes once said, if you need help getting into the dance, you ain’t deserve to be in the chance.

This week will be a win, although Bryce Young will look like a future HOFer as he throws for over 300 yards.
