Watched several highlight files on him. One thing that stood out to me was how easily and naturally he caught the ball. Looks very relaxed as a receiver. Some guys look stiff, unnatural adjusting to and catching passes out of the backfield. He looks very fluid.
As with all rookies, it will be fun seeing how he develops as a pro. Will he live upto expectations, exceed them or fail to meet them.
I noticed the same. A lot of those highlights were of him 15 or 20 yards down field, not just check downs. They looked like Aaron Jones type routes. Very encouraging.Originally Posted by Patler
But he looked more fluid making the catch than Jones usually did. Like I said, I wasn't crazy about the pick, but I am excited to see him own some LBs trying to cover him beyond 5 yards.
I don't hold Grudges. It's counterproductive.
