    Halloween

Going to a costume party tonight and having not given the thing much forethought don't even know what I'm going as yet. But it got me thinking of some of the costumes of my past. What was your best costume EVER?

One year my roommate and I went as old ladies. I borrowed a frumpy old dress from my mom, picked up a wig from goodwill (and had it cleaned--ick), and a cane, got some support hose and padded them 'til the dress fit. Add sensible shoes and some heavy makeup and I was actually mistaken for an old woman while in my early twenties. That costume won me $250.

For my Elementary School Halloween parties, my Green Bay Packer Cheesehead "costume" was always a big hit with the kids and parents. Over the years, the kids came to expect it.

I wore my cheesehead, my "G" sunglasses, a cheesehead tie, Packer polo shirt, and Packer shoelaces.

Maybe in Maryland, the "Cheesehead" costume might be a hit as well, MJ!
