Just a shower head and four body sprayers. We decided to save some money by not including the in-ceiling rain shower head.

we were considering that. Does it save enough gas over the tank system to make it worth the price?

I don't know for sure but the ex's parents looked into one for a guest area that had it's own water heater and was not used often but they ended up getting a regular water heater and just keeping it turned off instead.

Everything must go. Everything. Here's the plan, a SkinBasket original. Shower and floors in travertine. Vanity in dark brown with a crema marfil marble top. The frameless glass shower overlaps the tub surround to provide a place to sit your ass down in the shower with body sprayers.

Nice layout. That toilet area looks kinda narrow though. From sheetrock to sheetrock looks to be maybe 28"? I suppose you need 3' by code between the sink and the lav wall?

The measurements on the plan are just original estimates. I think the actual code is how wide the "water closet" is. We'll actually have just under three feet between the vanity and the wall in the end though. And all that new wall will need to be decorated...

When Dad is at work there is no such thing as Code. He flaunts Code.

It's worked well for us because we have a very large clawfoot tub to fill and you never run out of hot water while doing that, it is not heating water in the tank when your not using it (all day long when we might be gone) they last much longer with regular maintenance than a traditional tank heater, take up less space and shaved around $25 of our monthly gas bill. If you have really cold ground water they may not work as well but you probably won't have that problem. If you have multiple users at once (both showers going at the same time or the laundry and dishwasher it can cut down the hot water flow but you can by more powerful units.

They are worth looking into but are not the right solution for everybody.

Yeah. Like I said, the previous owners believed caulk was as good as grout. Looks like they were mistaken.

Hell, if you want anything, take it. I asked your dad if he wanted any of it and he laughed.

It's not too late for a trip to the Kohler Design Center:

Were you aware that there were paint colors besides white and off-white?
