Well, it was working at midnight. Between then and daylight, a few hundred gallons of water started hanging out in the carpet. Wet carpet is heavy. Wet carpet padding is heavier. Strange my insurance agent isn't answering his phone. Fucking insurance agents.
Now....fingers crossed till July when the gutters will be replaced!!
We had a pretty harsh storm go through here Fri. morning. Winds up to 80 mph. Lots of trees and wires down throughout the city. A big tree hit the building I work in...took it up from the roots. Unfortunately it hit in the opposite area of my office and I still had to go to work. :P
